Inflatable Vacbed

After ordering the vacbed arrived much quicker than expected and for the price is great value. It feels great to be in and is quick and simple to set up and take back down. The lack of a solid frame means you can store it much easier without needing as much room and this also means it’s easier to hide should you need to.

The only issue I’m having with it is the right side of my body doesn’t quite get the same level of vacuum as the left (left being the side with the foam brick and pump) however, I believe this to be more an issue with me learning how to get the most out of the bed than an issue with the bed itself.

I’d like to also mention the pump is a requirement for the vacbed if you don’t already have one. The pump itself is ok quality and works well. It’s nowhere near as loud as a vacuum thankfully and while not the quickest at pulling a vacuum it most certainly gets the job done! (Just I need to work out how to position myself correctly) I own one pump that I bought with the vacuum sleep sack (another product I recommend as it’s great fun!) and as both products are designed with the same pump in mind it was a breeze to set it up for the vacbed. The only real difference was I needed to add one additional pipe to allow for the inflation of the air mattress.

All in all, the pump and vacbed are both good products and I’m eager to spend more time playing! Just be sure to play as safe as you can if you do get this product! It holds a vacuum very well when the pump is off so you’ll not be free for a good long while after! (Even if you try and self inflate with breathing out of your nose)

This inflatable vacbed is incredible, from the engineering of the vacuum pump to the quality of the latex crafting.

To start, Kenze is using Radical Rubber (0.4mm for these latex vacbed shells), which is simply exceptional British-made latex. Radical Rubber is my personal favorite latex sheeting, and, generally speaking, buying from a latex crafter that uses Radical Rubber is a good sign as it pertains to quality. The seam glueing on the latex sheeting here is excellent, especially around the areas that you’d typically worry about like the zipper, neck hole, breathing hole, etc. It’s stretchy where you’ll need it to stretch and rigid and reinforced where you’ll need just a little more durability; in short, it’s perfect.

The air mattress is probably going to look pretty familiar to a lot of people as it's a pretty tried and true design; the only noticeable differences that you’ll probably pick up on is that it’s a pretty shade of pink/purple and it's got the company logo on the side of it, which is, admittedly, super cool looking. One of my few nitpicks with the air mattress is that the polyester-vinyl fur flocking is still present on the top side of the air mattress; you’ll see this on any ol’ residential air mattress. This fur can get pretty gross if you’re using it as intended, but the grossness kinda compounds when you get into things like silicone lube which is what you’ll need to shine the latex and make it a little less aggressively grippy. This isn’t a dealbreaker since you’re not likely to be using this air mattress separately from the latex sheeting, but just be prepared for those fibrous furs to hold onto that slick silicone lube. Alternatively, just skip shining the inside of the latex (and just do the outside for that gorgeous shiny look).

So, the remote control and pump—they’re excellent. Kenze says that air evacuation to form the vacuum takes two to three minutes. I have not timed this out, but it feels a little faster than that. Once the air is evacuated, you can turn the pump off to avoid hickies caused by the ever-increasing vacuum pressure spreading your skin out.

I stayed in the vacbed with the pump off for half an hour, never noticing a huge dip in negative pressure. Maybe, five percent of leakage every 10 minutes? This is one of the best maintained states of vacuum pressure that I have ever seen from a product like this. Additionally, the pump is wickedly small and devilishly quiet. Much better than using a residential or commercial vacuum cleaner to suck the air out. Plus, the pump can also be used to pump air in, which means it works for inflatables too (like the air mattress)! However, do be aware that the air comes back into the vacbed at about the same speed as it was evacuated, so you’ll be stuck for a few more minutes after hitting the release button which can be annoying when you want to just get out and be done. Speaking of the release button.

Note: while in the vacbed, try to keep the buttons of the remote unpressed by covering them with half of a pill bottle, half of a travel-sized bottle, or some other piece of sturdy plastic. You really don't want to be in a situation where the button to release you is already pressed down by the vacuum pressure; that could turn something very good into something very bad!

One other thing to keep in mind: despite Kenze simplifying the process as much as physically possible, there are still a lot of pipes and pieces that you’ll have to keep track of. I don’t have a ton of storage space at present, so the vacbed and its components have been tricky to fully put away. So, if you are space-impoverished like me, consider waiting to make the purchase until after you’ve gotten more space to play, or just be realistic about how much space something like this is going to demand (it will probably be more than you expect, that was the case for myself).

All in all, I love this inflatable vacbed! If you've ever wanted to try something like this, give it a go, you’ll probably love it too! There’s nothing quite like being comfortably compressed until you can’t move at all.

Another thing to love is the price—this vacbed is being sold at half the price of other vacbeds on the market, but without any noticeable dip in quality. Throw in all of the extra goodies that Kenze sends, and it’s really hard to argue with the value proposition here. Plus, the shipping time was phenomenal for me; my full order (which was shipped in three different parcels) all arrived within two weeks. One package came in three days! I was floored by that, honestly.

Es fesselt einen echt Bedingunglos. Und wenn man keine Zeitschaltuhr benutzt , ist man gefangen. Keine Flucht möglich. Die Fernbedienung wird man imVacbed nicht bedienen können. Also klare 5Sterne es lohnt sich. Einziger Kritikpunkt die Luftmatratze sollte eine glatte Oberfläche haben Ohne wölbung dann wäre es Perfekt
