I’m a solo play aficionado with vacbeds. I figured I could handle this. I did, BUT it was a close call.
As you’d hope, it’s completely restricting when it’s fully inflated. You can’t move an inch as it presses on you relentlessly. You can only breath through a tube that goes out the top or bottom of the whale depending on how you’ve set it up. Either way, there is a real risk that that plastic tube can pop out of the mouthpiece attachment—either due to the inflation of the whale or your struggling. If that happens, you have no air. You could easily die before escaping.
Your hands are presumably inside the side fins. One has a pressure release valve. It is attached to the upper chamber of the whale. The lower chamber valve release is near your hips. The intended way to end play is to stop the pump with the remote (don’t drop it!!) and then hold the fin release to let air out of the top. After a minute or two, you then use your other arm to wriggle free of the other fin and find and press the hip release valve for the lower chamber. This takes another minute or two. It is VERY hard for me, a fit flexible adult who isn’t huge, to remove my hand/arm from the fin, since there’s nothing to push against. You could easily pull the mouth piece free while trying to do so.
Another failure mode is if you decide “I’ll just keep my arms at my side so I can easily vent the lower chamber.” Well, if you didn’t pre-inflate the lower chamber before getting in, then your weight ensured the lower chamber was basically empty. Which means the upper chamber got all the air and so if you can’t vent it, then you’re stuck.
Oh, there are also plastic loops inside that you can use to bind your arms in place. This is a death sentence if so. Cut them out with scissors asap, I’m not joking. I accidently got one arm in one without noticing and it greatly restricted my ability to wriggle my arm out of the fin; if I didn’t have the other arm free, I’d still be in that whale.
The whale is also hot as balls. Like you sweat immediately. I started putting ice packs on the bottom for comfort.
Anyways I know I had a lot of negatives there. But it’s actually very fun with used with caution. If you do this with a partner, have a blast! It’s easy for them to unzip the mouth so you can breath in a pinch. But solo this is far riskier than a vacbed IMO. Study it carefully and really plan out your motions. Try it a couple times with the mouth open perhaps.

I have to be completely open and honest: I was very, very skeptical about the product at first, especially regarding the weight limit—the description specifies under 100 kilograms, whereas I weigh around 112 kilograms—so I assumed it wouldn't hold my weight. In fact, it does; just like in the product photos, you can lie on either side with your head at either end. This product is wonderful for people who enjoy being completely enclosed with little to no room to move. One minor issue I found is that it is very difficult to insert the included air hose into the black fitting, though the emergency valves inside are well-made and easily accessible. (A quick tip: please never use this whale alone—it could be fatal.)
This is more than what I expected, and I will give a full and honest review after trying it out today!
I've always been into these inflatable bondage whale suits and I've finally gotten my own here! Have tried it a couple of times now and can't get enough from it as it feels so much better than what I expected! It's TIGHT and hugs all over your body nicely! >.< The only thing I'd say is a small disadvantage is that the breathing tube is very stiff and kinda difficult to adjust, but I found a solution on how to get it done. I'll either way let the review be on 5 stars.
Another thing to keep in mind, if you are getting the whale with an air pump, the power cable is a chinese plug and you might have to go to the store and buy a cable which will fit your country's socket. The remote controller did not include battery as well and it is an VG23A (23A) battery.
I really like the system that you can connect the hoses though and have all three chambers inflate at the same time!
If you are gonna attempt solo play, I will HIGHLY suggest you double, or even tripple check that your hand is in a good position for the safety valve, the mouth piece for the breathing tube is secured nicely in your mouth BEFORE starting to inflate. And ofcourse take break when you need to! You will get warm and moisty in there!
